Every year Overgate Hospice holds a Rainbow of Ribbons Day in their gardens and this year the Rainbow of Ribbons Reflection Day was held on June 6th. Due to the ongoing Covid restrictions however, they were unable to run it in its usual form so instead, they are inviting people to donate money and then display the ribbons in their own gardens throughout the month of June.
The Residents of Waterhouse Homes donated money to Overgate and received these ribbons, displayed beautifully around the fountain in the gardens, in return. The Residents will be asked if they would like to write a card, in memory of a loved one, for the Wardens to add to the ribbons in the display.
What a wonderful idea and colourful display that everyone can enjoy whilst remembering their loved ones.
