Mackintosh Homes were founded by the Mackintosh family who were toffee makers in Halifax. Their company merged with Rowntree and was then taken over by Nestle. Our very knowledgeable Clerk to the Trustees George Pickles went to see Nestle to talk to them about John Mackintosh, our shared history and how we might work together in the future.
