The Sun Continues to Shine on Week 9

Walking into Waterhouse Homes this week to deliver the Newsletter, I was greeted by the sounds of birds and communal chatter from a group of Residents sitting, socially distanced, in the gardens. They were soaking up the sun and relaxing in the community that is Waterhouse and Mackintosh Homes. It felt so homely, natural and 'normal' that you would not believe that we are in the middle of lockdown week 9. The bumble bees are still in residence in the bird box at Mackintosh Homes; the buzzing of the bees collecting nectar another glorious summer sound to be enjoyed.

There's plenty to look forward to this week, apart from the weather and nature around the Homes; Friday the 29th May is 'Fish and Chip Friday' thanks to the Wardens and Mark from West Vale Fisheries and the Waterhouse and Mackintosh Times' come out this Saturday, 30th May.

Thanks as always to all the Residents and Wardens of Waterhouse and Mackintosh Homes for looking out for each other and keeping each other safe and well.
