Well, here we all are in lockdown week 4 at Waterhouse and Mackintosh Homes. The gardens are starting to awaken and with the lovely weather, Residents have been able to sit and walk out whilst respecting social distancing.
Our residents and guests enjoyed Cards Club this week in the Waterhouse Community lounge. Lots of fun was had by all with a plenty of laughter and friendly competition.
Mackintosh Homes were founded by the Mackintosh family who were toffee makers in Halifax. Their company merged with Rowntree and was then taken over by Nestle.
Our residents from Waterhouse and Mackintosh homes enjoyed a lovely lunch at Waterhouse. We are proud of our community and enjoy all the occasions when our residents come together.
We were delighted to team up with Calderdale SmartMove to take part in the Halifax Minster Christmas Tree festival. The decorations were handmade by our residents and Calderdale SmartMove clients and looked absolutely beautiful.
